Red Velvet’s short appearance in Hong Kong wows fans nevertheless

HONG KONG – Red Velvet, the sweet Korean girl group consisting of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri, doubled up as Shilla Duty Free’s brand ambassadors this time. They came to celebrate Beauty&You’s first anniversary on Tuesday (30 July) at the Hong Kong International Terminal 2.

During the interview session, Red Velvet revealed their preferences of cosmetic products with us. For the must-have items for their trips, Wendy said that she would always bring mask packs and V-line packs, while Joy said she would bring cushions and lip products because they were just simply essentials.

Prior to the event, Red Velvet had already gave the Beauty&You shop a visit. Seulgi mentioned that the shop was large and organised, and she could not resist her urge to get her hands on some of the products displayed.

She also shared that they had eaten many dim-sum when they just arrived at Hong Kong, truly a must-eat food item. Wendy also said that she would like to go for sight-seeing with members next time in Hong Kong, because the night view in Hong Kong was just beautiful beyond words.

During the performance segment, they performed their famous songs Red Flavor, Power Up, Really Bad Boy (RBB) and Zimzalabim. Well, even before the “Zimzalabim” stage, Red Velvet personally taught us the dance and asked everyone to dance with them together during the stage.
