HONG KONG – Back in Hong Kong to hold their 1st concert “Eyes On Me” after a short visit for the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) last year, the girls are back bolder.
Fans packed the venue and filled the hall with deafening screams, once again proving the group’s high popularity overseas.
The girl group formed through the Mnet reality show Produce 48, a 12-member group featuring nine Korean performers and three Japanese singers coming from the AKB48 universe, comprises twelve members – Won-young, Sakura, Yu-ri, Ye-na, Yu-jin, Nako, Eun-bi, Hye-won, Hitomi, Chae-won, Min-ju and Chae-yeon.
Having debuted last October with their first extended play Color*Iz, the group receives heaps of love and attention from fans, selling over 225,000 copies.
Their Hong Kong leg of the show was third in line, after their first show in Seoul, then Thailand and Taiwan.
The girls were decked in vibrant pink dresses as they opened the stage for the show with “O’ My!” and “Hey. Bae. Like it.”
They coupled their refreshing vocals with coy dance moves, appealing to their fans.
