Bae Jin Young holds personal press conference in Hong Kong ahead of upcoming debut

HONG KONG – Bae Jin Young, former vocalist of Wanna One, showed up at Windsor House for the press conference of his 1st Asia fan meeting tour in Hong Kong ‘IM YOUNG‘, to promote his very first individual fan meeting in Hong Kong. The event attracted hoards of fans and press to come and meet Bae.

Well, though he’s only 19, his popularity should definitely not be underestimated.

After the disbandment of Wanna One, the members have gone their separate ways to work on their individual projects and continued to show their talent in different aspects. For Bae, he debuted as a solo singer with his first single album “Hard to say Goodbye”.

In fact, he also participated in the shooting of advertisements and photobook, and started his Asia fan meeting tour. He was the fourth member of Wanna One who had a fan meeting in Hong Kong.

As soon as he stepped up on stage, he greeted fans in Cantonese and mentioned he missed Hong Kong fans a lot. He also thanks Hong Kong fans for coming to support him. 

Then, he continued to share the source of inspiration for the fan meeting concept, and hoped to perform well at the fan meeting later.

During the interview, Bae, who is also one-fifth of the company’s upcoming new boy group, CIX, mentioned that he will be debuting soon. Therefore, he practiced a lot every day, in order not to disappoint his fans.

When Bae was invited to show his two-sided charisma, he did the aegyo called ‘ddak ddak’ which was famous during Produce 101 Season 2 before he ended the press conference with a group photo with fans.
